What we do
Translation
Upon reading the source document in full and understanding who the target readers are, we proceed to translate the source document following client specifications in terms of style, register, tone and formatting, all in the most natural way possible without resorting to unreadable and word-per-word translations.
Proofreading
The already reviewed translation is passed on to our QA Department who reads the translation as if it were a newly-produced document to check that it can be read as such and does not sound translated. In addition, focused is placed on readability and target audience appropriateness. Formatting is also double-checked and the document is ready for delivery.
Localization
Spanish is widely spoken throughout Latin America, including the United States, and Spain. Depending on your target audience you may need to have your app, game, software or text adapted to a specific variant or locale.
This process will allow you to avoid re-translating all your content and is therefore the most affordable and time-saving option for you.
Editing
The translation is forwarded to our internal editor who is in charge of performing a side-by-side review of the translation and the source document. The editor goes over grammar aspects, consistency in terminology, typos and mistranslations and style.
